National Child Information Center
National Child Information Center was established on 30.09.2004 with the kind guidance and assistance of Mr. Nakajima Hiroshi and JAICA.
National Child Information Center of the National Children’s Educational Foundation provides an enormous service to the needy children in our society who is a part of the live wire of the nation.
The objectives of the National Child Information Center are as follows:
1. Collect and maintain the Island wide information on economically, physically and mentally handicapped children.
2. Provide guidance and financial support and equipment such as wheel chairs, crutches, limbs etc and medicines to the physically and mentally handicapped children.
3. Provide guidance and Financial support to carry out education to the children whose parents are either in prison or divorced or having other family problems. The Information Center located at the head office is fully equipped with a computerized database management system which provides the required information to channel the necessary funds to the needy children.
The Information centers located at the regional level are linked to the head office and the information will be up dated on regular basis.
Following scholarship projects are in operation at present with the assistance of the Japanese and German Donors to assist needy children.
