After combing and making a bundle of coconut fibre, fixing them into a wooden stick, with a piece of round tin plate, nailing them with a hammer.
Loving the nature
Firstly the kids brought a caterpillar and put it in a bottle and closed the lid. This lid is with some tiny holes to enable it to breathe. Then the kids observed what was happening feeding it with some foods. Little by little caterpillar to some extent.
One day it made up a shell by itself in the bottle. After some days there came a butterfly out of the shell instead of a caterpillar.
The picture shows the instance of releasing the butterfly free into the nature.
This experiment was done by the kids in NCEF Model Kindergarten whose ages are between 3-4 years.
It is very important in recognizing the world to the children through activity based education to familiarize them with food culture etc.
Accordingly this is an example of participating a group of small children with the processing of coconut oil by putting pieces of desiccated coconut into a machine to produce coconut oil.
